• Anyone who asks:  treat anyone who gives consent. Seeking parental permission recommended for treating people under age 18 years.

WHAT ELSE CAN BE TREATED?

• Animals, birds & pets (they usually love Reiki treatments)
• Plants (touch the plant or its pot, or Reiki the water)
• Drinks & water
• Food & medicine (a way of blessing your food)
• Sleeping pillows
• Stuffed animals, dolls, toys, or anything of comfort to a fussy child or pet
• Gifts
• Love letters & emails of any sort (put your hand on the screen before sending)
• Business proposals or correspondence
• Vehicles & ANY machine (copiers, computers, locks, cookers, tools, phones, etc)
• Anything made of energy!
• Anything you want to "charge" with love and thankfulness

AT LEVEL II AND HIGHER:

This is a beautiful way to send and express thankfulness to:

• Your angels & spirit guides
• Archangels & Ascended Masters
• God / Great Spirit / Buddha / The Divine / Your Highest Power
• Prayer circles or holding hands (send it throughout the circle)
• Totem / power animals
• Relationships
• Situations & events
• Ideas, concepts, or plans

CAUTIONS:

• Careful sending Reiki to insects or animals you do NOT want to swarm you!
• Because Reiki will re-balance the body, a client on medication may need the dosage to change.  Instruct those persons to regularly consult with their doctor.
• Unless you are a licensed to do so, NEVER prescribe anything.

GOOD NEWS!!

As of 1998, North Carolina general statute law Article 36 § 90-624 Exemption #7 states, "Nothing in this Article shall be construed to prohibit or affect: (7) the practice of techniques that are specifically intended to affect the human energy field."  This means one can do Reiki without a state license as long as one is not manipulating soft tissue (don't squeeze, press, or slide hands on a client).  This exemption was brought about by the activism of polarity therapists in the late 90's.
